US Bank FreeMonee Program

Do you have a US Bank account? If so are you aware of their free monee program? Here's what it is periodically you will receive emails from US Bank with a Free Monee offer. Which means they will award you a certain amount of money when you shop at the retailer they are highlighting. The offer is usually between $1-$5 and you usually have about 5 days to go there. So for example they might say you can earn $2 when you shop at RiteAid between such and such dates. I have had many offers to places like Rite-Aid, Burger King, Sally Beauty Supply, Buca de Beppo, etc. I don't always redeem them, but if it's a good deal and I can get something for free or close to it I usually will. And it's so simple just use your debit card and they automatically put the money in your account a few days later, you don't have to submit anything.

I love when they have offers to Rite-Aid, because I can pair it with their sales, coupons, and UP rewards. For example I bought all this for $2.62 but I will be getting a $2 Free Monee credit so in reality it only cost me $0.62.

Cheap Manwich and New Couponing Goals

So for the past year I have really slowed down in my couponing and by the time I had Bryce my stockpile was almost null and void, so I have set a goal to slowly rebuild it. I also am going to try something new utilizing the ads when they first come out and then purchase corresponding coupons to stock up on items found in the ads. I tried it this week with a sale they had on Manwich at Albertsons. I also knew they would have doublers in the paper on Sunday so I could really maximize my savings. I bought $1/4 Manwich coupons and stacked those with the sale price on the manwich and the doublers and was able to get it for .27 per can.

I was pretty happy and my kids love love love sloppy joes. I think that I now have at least a 6 month supply if not year supply of Manwich to make them with. Hopefully this purchase helped get my feet wet again and I can get back in the game and start building a stock pile again : )

Hallmark Ornaments/Christmas 75% off

Hallmark has marked down all of their ornaments and remaining Christmas merchandise to 75% off. This is a great deal, especially if you are an ornament collector. My kids get a special ornament each year and this is a great time to get them. They also give me a new one for my collection for my birthday each year, my husband will wait until this sale and then take them into pick the one out they want to give me.

Neighbor/Friend Christmas Gift Ideas

Here are a few ideas to give your neighbors or friends.

These rolo snowmen are what I made for the kids I work with and the girls in my daughters class.

They are pretty easy to make but a little time consuming. For the hat I used the end of a glove (which I purchased at the dollar store) and then added a pom pom.

  A Bag of Riesen Candy with a tag that reads "Remember the Riesen for the Season".

 These I made for my son's friends. They are little boxes made into snowmen. The saying "Have a Cool Yule" goes along with them. They are filled with treats and a gift card to Coldstone Creamery.

 Some more treats for some of the kids in my sons class a bag of Jolly Ranchers with the saying "Have a Holly Jolly Christmas" attached.

All of these ideas are pretty simple and affordable to reproduce or make on your own.
