Free Calendar From Shutterfly

Through Nov. 28, 2014 use the code FREECAL at Shutterfly to get a free 8.5 x 11 wall calendar. I love these calendars because you can personalize them with your own pictures. I give them to my Grandma and Mom every year for Christmas gifts and they love them as well. You will need to pay shipping which is about $6. Still a great deal though cause the calendar itself is regular $24. Hurry and make yours today-you won't regret it.

Halloween and Fall Clearance at Michaels

This week Michaels has put all of their Halloween stuff on Clearance for 70% off. This is perfect if you have some last minute needs or to grab a few things for next year. My daughter is having a Halloween party so I was able to get some party favors for cheap-I even snagged a cute set of photo booth props for .89.

Also a lot of their Fall Decor is marked down to 70% off as well...so you might as well get your decorations for next month. However, there are a few exceptions to the Fall items-such as their craft sets which are still only at 40% off.

Grocery Rebate Apps-Ibotta, Snap, Checkout 51

There are some really great apps available that give you rebates when you purchase certain grocery items. I am going to take a minute and tell a little bit about each. I currently use all 3 and like each one for different reasons. Sometimes something you buy (ex.-gallon of milk) may be used on more than one of the apps.

Ibotta
Though it requires a little more work than the other two,you have to scan the product as well as take a picture of the receipt, it is still one of my favorites for several reasons. First off it's super quick once I submit a product that I have purchased I usually have the money in my account within 6-12 hours. Second, on this app you may cash out as soon as you reach a minimum of $5 (the other two you have to be at $20). Also you can request your rebate in different ways such as a transfer to your paypal account or an iTunes gift card. One other thing that I should mention about this app is that it is divided up into store categories and certain items must be purchased a certain stores...not all stores are available.

Checkout 51
This app is also super fast, however not quite as fast as Ibotta but money is usually credited to your account in 12-24 hours. You only have to take a picture of your receipt and don't have to worry about scanning the product. Another thing I like about this one is most of the items don't have stipulations on where you have to buy them so you can shop anywhere you want. They also change items every Wednesday so you always know that is the day to look for new deals and that you have week to redeem them. I love this app because there are usually options for things like bananas, apples, carrots, yogurt, etc (any brand) which I normally buy anyways. Once you have earned $20 you can request a check.

Snap
Is the newest grocery rebate app it is produced by Groupon. For this app you can shop anywhere and only have to take a picture of your receipt. You have to earn $20 before you can request a check just like Checkout 51. The good thing about this app is that they seem to bee higher value rebates. Some examples $1 on any milk, $1 on any bread, $1 on any bag of candy. Right now the Huggies deals on this App are awesome especially if you pair them with coupons, because you can get $3 for buying diapers and $2 for buying wipees-most packages of wipes are around $2 to start so it's pretty much like getting them for free. One thing to note about this app is that there are a certain number of rebates available for the different items. When they run out it will let you know that they are no longer available. Usually you can only claim one rebate per item, but sometimes they will offer unlimited or 2 rebates for certain items. This app tends to take a little bit longer to verify your purchase than the other 2 sometimes between 24-48 hours, but it could be cause they are newer and hopefully that will change over time.

If you haven't already I would recommend downloading all three of these apps. Play around with them, use them, see which one fits with what you are doing. Maybe chose to use just one or chose to use all three, but definitely use them as they can be a great tool in earning money on the things you purchase.

Albertsons Trip-Cheap Cereal, Milk, and Triaminic

I feel like the couponing has picked back up the last little bit, for awhile I felt like even with coupons you just couldn't get very good deals, but lately I feel like I have been getting some awesome deals. I thought I would share my Albertsons Trip with you.

To make this trip happen I cashed in some of my point from my Kellogg's Family Rewards Club. I used $1,00 points to print a $1.50 off one cereal coupons. It is a bricks coupons so you can print it twice.

Here is the breakdown
4-boxes of Kellogg's Cereal $2.50 each ($10)
2-Gallons of Milk $2.99 each ($6)
2-Boxes of Triaminic $5.99 each ($12)

The Store deal was if you bought four boxes of Kellogg's Cereal you got a Free Gallon of Milk.
I also used another free Gallon of Milk when you buy four Kellogg's Cereal Coupon from the Sunday inserts.
Plus 2- $4/1 Triaminic coupons from the Sunday inserts.
and Finally 2- $1.50 off 1 Kelloggs cereal coupons from my Kellogg's Family Rewards.

With all of the coupons and savings it brought my total down to $10 +tax for all 8 items-which factors out to just over $1 per item-now those are the kind of savings I like to see :)

Kelloggs Family Rewards

If you haven't already signed up for it then now would be a great time to join Kellogg's Family Rewards. Every time you buy a Kellogg's Product you will most likely see the logo above, which means that inside that box there is a code. When you enter the code in your Kellogg's family rewards account you get a certain number of points. Those points add up and can be used to buy things. Also some boxes have bonus points so you might get the regular points plus points towards things like free books, or movie tickets (both of which I have redeemed). However my favorite thing about the points is that you can trade them in for high value coupons-and with some of the sales going on right now these make for great deals. For example you can get a .75/1 coupon for 500 points or $1.50/1 coupon for 1,000 points-these are good off of 1 box of cereal, poptarts, rice krispy treats, etc. Plus you can print each coupon twice.

Here are a few scenarios for this week...
EGO Waffles @ Albertsons $1.50 with store coupon pair with a .75/1 or $1.50/1 coupon to score them for .75 or free!

Kellogg's Cereal $1.49@ Smiths $1.58 @ Albertsons use .75/a or $1.50/1 to score these boxes of cereal for just pennies, free, or .75.

I love the Family Rewards Program and Hope that you will check it out.

Oh yeah one other thing you can trade in points for is for a free Redbox Rental it is 2,000 points though-I think I would rather spend mine on coupons.

101 Free Prints from Shutterfly

Now through July 8 you can get 101 free prints from Shutterfly when you enter code JULY101. *You will have to pay shipping.*
In my opinion although you have to pay the shipping it ends up being just a little bit cheaper than ordering them at somewhere like Costco or Wal-Mart plus you get them shipped right to your house and don't have to pick them up somewhere.

Great Deal on Cereal and Milk at Smiths

There is a great deal on cereal and milk right now at SMITHS. If you buy 3 boxes of cereal you get a Free Gallon of Milk...but here is where it gets even better. The cereal is on sale 3/$5 so that right there is a good deal because you get 3 boxes of cereal and 1 gallon of milk for the $5. However in the Sunday Paper 3/2/14 and also a few weeks ago there were $1/3 boxes of Kellogg's cereal coupons. Which brings your price down to $4 for the 3 boxes of cereal and a gallon of milk. BUT WAIT there is more. If you buy 6 boxes of Kellogg cereal you get a catalina for $3 (not sure how long this catalina will be available). So there you have it.
I used two of the $1/3 coupons on this transaction. It ended up costing me $8+tax and then I got back a $3 catalina, so about $5 for everything when you factor in the catalina :)
This is one of the best deals I have seen in awhile...

Children's Place Outlet Huge Sale ENDS TODAY Feb. 1, 2014

If you get emails from The Children's Place Outlet then you should have received one with a coupon for an extra 40%off anything in the store. If not it is code:222 if you tell them that they will usually still give you the discount :) Anyways this makes for some great deals, as they already have tons of things marked down to great prices and then you get an extra 40% off on top of that.
I was in there yesterday and got things like PJ's, shirts, and flip flops-marked down to $2.99 for only $1.80. I also bought a pair of snowboots marked down to $9.99 for only $5.99; and a few other things that were marked down to $4.99 for $2.99. All in All I bought 10 items and paid $26-not bad at all!

Target Toy Clearance

Target has marked down a huge lot of their toys to 50% off, however when I was in the store a few days ago they had just started marking things down to 70% off. They hadn't changed the signs to say 70% off yet and all things weren't marked down this much yet, but many were. SO you might want to check it out and just look at all the items as you go along-they might have made the official change by now as well. You will want to hurry though because these go quickly.
I was able to get some great deals for gifts later in the year. These are the approximate prices I paid
Huge back of Mega Blocks for $6
Mega Blocks first builders character sets $3
Barbie Mega Blocks building set for $3
V-tech Dino for $3
Craft Kit for girls $3
Fisher Price Baby Toy $3

Huge Aeropostale Clearance

Aeropostale is having a huge clearance sale right now. If you go in to your local store you can score some great deals. There clearance is an extra 70% off the lowest price. Which makes for some sweet deals. FYI the associate told me that it applies to any item ending in .99. So we found some sweats that were marked down to $14.99 regular $39.50 and we got them for $4.50. -My son loves these to lounge around in on weekends. They also had jeans, shirts, undies, etc. So if you have a teenage child or you yourself like to wear this brand I would recommend getting down there ASAP. This sale goes through this weekend and I'm sure things will move quickly. Also if you get emails from AERO you should have received one that includes a coupon you can print for $10 off a $40 purchase :) Happy Shopping
PS-the email I received from AERO said the store clearance was an additional 50% off  but when I got to the store it was actually an additional 70% off...this may vary by store...I was shopping at the St. George, Utah location.
