Cheap Medicine at Rite-Aid

This Sunday (9-28-14) in the paper there were several high dollar medicine coupons that came out. They were for Advil Cold & Sinus, Children's Advil, Dimetapp, and Robitussin. Each one was for $3/1 and each one only lasted only one week.

You can pair these with a sale at Rite-Aid to get some cheap medicine and stock up your cupboard for the cold and flu season. You could also add-match the price at Wal-Mart.

Rite-Aid
Children's Robitussin & Dimetapp Cold Medicines $4.99
Childrens Advil $4.99
Adult Robitussin Products $4.99
Advil Cold and Sinus (20 count) $4.99

use the $3/1 coupon to bring the total down to $1.99.

There is also a $1 UP reward when you purchase these products which will be added to your wellness card for you to spend next time. Limit of 1 Up Reward per Member. This makes the deal even better.

Stock up now for the best prices of the season and be prepared when the cold and flu season hits!

Albertsons Trip-Cheap Cereal, Milk, and Triaminic

I feel like the couponing has picked back up the last little bit, for awhile I felt like even with coupons you just couldn't get very good deals, but lately I feel like I have been getting some awesome deals. I thought I would share my Albertsons Trip with you.

To make this trip happen I cashed in some of my point from my Kellogg's Family Rewards Club. I used $1,00 points to print a $1.50 off one cereal coupons. It is a bricks coupons so you can print it twice.

Here is the breakdown
4-boxes of Kellogg's Cereal $2.50 each ($10)
2-Gallons of Milk $2.99 each ($6)
2-Boxes of Triaminic $5.99 each ($12)

The Store deal was if you bought four boxes of Kellogg's Cereal you got a Free Gallon of Milk.
I also used another free Gallon of Milk when you buy four Kellogg's Cereal Coupon from the Sunday inserts.
Plus 2- $4/1 Triaminic coupons from the Sunday inserts.
and Finally 2- $1.50 off 1 Kelloggs cereal coupons from my Kellogg's Family Rewards.

With all of the coupons and savings it brought my total down to $10 +tax for all 8 items-which factors out to just over $1 per item-now those are the kind of savings I like to see :)

Kelloggs Family Rewards

If you haven't already signed up for it then now would be a great time to join Kellogg's Family Rewards. Every time you buy a Kellogg's Product you will most likely see the logo above, which means that inside that box there is a code. When you enter the code in your Kellogg's family rewards account you get a certain number of points. Those points add up and can be used to buy things. Also some boxes have bonus points so you might get the regular points plus points towards things like free books, or movie tickets (both of which I have redeemed). However my favorite thing about the points is that you can trade them in for high value coupons-and with some of the sales going on right now these make for great deals. For example you can get a .75/1 coupon for 500 points or $1.50/1 coupon for 1,000 points-these are good off of 1 box of cereal, poptarts, rice krispy treats, etc. Plus you can print each coupon twice.

Here are a few scenarios for this week...
EGO Waffles @ Albertsons $1.50 with store coupon pair with a .75/1 or $1.50/1 coupon to score them for .75 or free!

Kellogg's Cereal $1.49@ Smiths $1.58 @ Albertsons use .75/a or $1.50/1 to score these boxes of cereal for just pennies, free, or .75.

I love the Family Rewards Program and Hope that you will check it out.

Oh yeah one other thing you can trade in points for is for a free Redbox Rental it is 2,000 points though-I think I would rather spend mine on coupons.
