Rite Aid Toilet Paper and Facial Tissue Get Your Raincheck NOW!

If you looked at the Rite-Aid ad yesterday then you saw the smoking hot deal on toilet paper and facial tissue. Buy 1 Get $1 Up Reward. NO Limit. So if you bought 10 you would get $10 back in up rewards. So pretty much FREE. I have never seen free toilet paper before.
I went in this morning as soon as they opened with my hopes up but there was none to be found. They said they went through cases and cases of both yesterday. However you can get a raincheck. It's actually even better to do it this way because of having to pay and then get the UP Reward back they just automatically take the UP Reward off so you will walk out of there without having to pay anything but the sales tax. SWEET!
SO GO GET YOUR RAINCHECKS!
(an up reward is like a Catalina you get them for buying certain things and then you can spend it on anything else in your next transaction including the same item)

Cheap Bread

Bread is one of those necessities of life but have you seen the price of it lately? Now my family is just a little bit picky about bread we have to get the Grandma Sycamores Brand. Without a good sale this is normally priced at Wal-Mart at $3.00 per loaf and even with a sale it doesn't go under $1.66.

Well here is my newest find.....

The Old Home Bakery Outlet also called the Sara Lee Bakery Outlet.
They get the bread from the delivery guys that has been replaced by newer bread at the stores. Is the bread bad? no However it usually has a sale by date of the day you buy it or a few days after that. But so what it still is good for a long time after that date especially if you freeze it or keep it in the fridge plus most of us go through at least a loaf a week anyways so there shouldn't be a problem with it going bad in that amount of time.
The best part is the price .90 per loaf for Grandma Sycamores and Sara Lee. They also carry hot dog and hamburger buns at a reduced price and a few other brands of bread such as Natures Pride.
For St. George the delivery days for the Grandma Sycamores are Tuesday and Thursday.

Educational Freebie: Free Funnix Downloadable Children’s Reading Program ($249 value)

During the month of January, Funnix is offering their entire Downloadable Children’s Reading Program for free! This is a two-year reading program which usually is priced at $249!

Here are more details from their website:

The program is designed by the world’s most successful creator of instructional materials, Siegfried (Zig) Engelmann, a maverick professor of Education who has authored many books, including Give Your Child a Superior Mind, and highly successful reading programs like Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons.

Engelmann says of Funnix,”Teaching the lessons requires a lot less effort, and the lessons are more entertaining. Also, the program consists of 220 daily lessons, so it takes kids farther than most beginning-reading programs– from being non readers to reading on the third-grade level.”

The free version of Funnix is electronic. You download the entire package of 220 lessons and other material onto your computer, and you have everything you need to teach the program. The steps of what you do and how you do it are spelled out in Teacher’s Guide, which you review before presenting the program. Workbook and textbook activities accompany the lessons. You print these.

Toy Clearance-Be on the Lookout

So as you can see from this picture. I have been doing some serious toy shopping. Now is the best time to buy toys because they clearancing a lot of stuff to make room for the new toys of the year. Wal-Mart has tons of toys Clearanced to 50% off, but where we really found the bargains were Rite-Aid they had a whole row of Christmas Toys marked down to 75% off. We got deals like Remote Control Cars for $3.74 and art sets for $1.99. My friend and I came out of the store with two whole carts full of toys. So keep your eyes peeled as you are out and about. Target also has a bunch of toys down to 30% off not good enough for me to personally buy right now but keep your eyes and ears open in the next few weeks they will go down to 50% off and then 75% off and when they do they go quick.

(Disclaimer all these toys are not for me-I could only wish to have a stash like this for Birthdays and Christmas-I actually buy items for the student store at my kids school so that is what most of these are for)
