Old Navy $4 Sale 2 Days Only

Old Navy is having a $4 Sale on many items. The sale runs today July 29 and tomorrow July 30. Some of the items included in the sale are: swimwear for the entire family, basic and graphic tees for the entire family, and some shorts. They also have a lot of clearance items like flip flops for $1.49. You might want to head in and check it out.

Here is what I got for $14.32-2 basic tees, 2 graphic tees, 1 pair of swim trunks, and a pair of flip flops. I was able to use a couple of BOGO coupons I had for the t-shirts in addition to the sale to make the deal even sweeter-it made my t-shirts $2 a piece!

Rite Aid Weekly Chronicles Week #9

The deals at Riteaid seemed a little slow this week...but I did stop in and get a couple things since I was making a trip to the bread store and it's right across the street. Here was my big purchase...Grand total $1.98. First I bought the toothbrush priced $2.99 I used a $2/1 cross-action coupon from the RedPlum Insert. I paid $1.18 OOP and I got back $1.50 Up Reward. Then I bought the Tylenol Pain Cream priced $4.99 I used a $3/1 Tylenol Precise coupon and the $1.50 Up Reward and I paid .80 OOP.
Even though it doesn't seem like much a few cheap items here and there can really contribute to your stock pile plus a few dollars at a time instead of $5 or $10 doesn't take away from as much of your grocery money either so sometimes in a way the smaller trips can be better.

Albertson's Doublers Trip-you have got to see this!

I headed to Albertson's this morning with my doublers in hand. The deal I was going for was supposed to be good but it got even better. The deal buy 4 boxes of cereal 4/$10 and get back a $2 Catalina and a coupon good for a gallon of milk up to $4.50. For some reason though the Catalina machine was printing out 2 $2 Catalina's and the milk coupon-SCORE!

So here is the breakdown I got 12 boxes of cereal, 1 gallon of milk, 1 package of cookies, and 1 package of sparklers for $12.44 OOP. I also still have 2 free milk coupons and $4 in Catalina's to use later on.

Kohl's Gift Card in the Mail

Do you ever get the Kohl's mailers in your mailbox? Many of us probably just toss them in the garbage without taking a second glance, but periodically if you look at the back of them they will have a $10 gift card attached good on anything, yes anything in the store. I love to get these, because I know I will be able to get something for free or close to it, especially if I shop the sales or clearance. Well yesterday was my lucky day. I went in to Kohl's with my gift card that came in the mail on Saturday and I was able to get there two t-shirts for free. Yep that's right free! I didn't even have to pay tax. They were on sale for $4.99 each but when they take of the gift card it takes away the tax too, so I didn't even have to pay a penny. I was so happy.Moral of the story make sure you don't throw away your "junk mail" without checking it twice.

They have marked down beach towels and beach accessories, patio furniture and accessories, kids water and pool toys (water guns, slip n slides, etc.) and tons more. RiteAid Weekly Chronicles Week 8

I went to Riteaid yesterday to get the Noxema Razors that were in the ad. They were gone so I got a raincheck for them. While I was there I was able to cash in one of the rainchecks I already had. It was for the Oral B-Spinbrushes. With the raincheck they were $3.00 each. I had $3/1 coupons for each one. So I bought 4 Oral B Spinbrushes, regularly $8.49 each, and I paid only .75 OOP for all four of them, which is just basically the tax. SCORE!

If you go to riteaid and they are out of something that has an UP Reward attached to it when they write the raincheck they will automatically deduct the Up Reward since when you cash it in that Up Reward will no longer be in effect. In a way this is sometimes better because you don't have to pay the full price up front and then get the Up Reward back.

So were any of you as excited as I was when I saw these coupons in the Sunday paper yesterday? FYI if you haven't looked or clipped them yet they were in the 7-10 RP. They are for $5 off 5 Kellogs cereal any flavor or size. Sweet!
At Albertsons thru Tuesday if you buy 5 boxes of select Kellogs cereal they are $1.99 per box. Pair that with this coupon and it makes the cereal .99 per box.
At Smiths thru Tuesday select varieties of Kellogs Cereal are 3/$5 or $1.66 each. So if you bought 5 boxes and used the coupon it would make them .66 per box. WOW! Now that's the cheapest I've been able to get cereal in a long time!
You could also ad match either one of these prices at Wal-Mart and use the coupon.
