Buy 3 Lysol Products, one of them needs to be Lysol Wipes, between 7/1/2011 and 10/31/2011 and submit the cash register receipt along with the rebate form and you will receive a refund of up to $3.00 for the Lysol Wipes. I think if you watch for a sale and pair it with the Lysol coupons that were in the Sunday paper last week that this will make for a pretty good deal.

Toaster Strudels for $1 per box @ Harmon's

This is by far the best deal I have ever seen or gotten on Toaster Strudels. My kids love these. They have been asking me for weeks to get them but there just hasn't been a good deal or sale on them. When I saw this sale in the Harmon's ad I knew I couldn't pass it up. So here is the run-down...

Buy 10 boxes of Toaster Strudels at Harmon's priced $1.75 per box. They have an in-store coupon they will just take it off at the register for $5 off when you buy 10 participating products. This brings the price down to $1.25 per box, which in itself is a great price, but then if you have 5 -.50/2 toaster strudel coupons from the Sunday papers you can use those as well and that brings your price down to $1.00 per box.

Don't throw out those old jeans

What do you do with those jeans that just don't fit anymore or that have acquired a hole? How about this... a JEAN QUILT!

I never throw away or re-sale jeans because with a little bit of work they can become this. I love to turn them into baby quilts to give away as gifts. For this quilt I cut the jeans into squares and strips 5 inches in width. (I cut out any holes, fading, or stains) Then I sewed them all together. I just sewed them together randomly. I then added a cotton batting, a flannel back and some ties to bring the whole thing together. And there you have it something new and great out of something old that was just going to be thrown out.

All of this for a Grand Total of $4.52 plus I have a $1 Up Reward left for next week. Here is the breakdown.

Transaction #1-scunci hair elastics $2.49-used $1 on any non prescription RA printable-paid $1.65 OOP got back a $1.50 UP.

Transaction #2-Women's Dove Deodorant and Men's Degree Deodorant-used $1.50 UP and Free Degree Deodorant when you buy Dove Deodorant coupon from Sunday Paper- paid .75 OOP and got back a $2 UP.

Transaction #3-2 big bags of peanut butter M & M's-used $2 UP Reward-paid $2.12 OOP and got back a $1 UP.

-Plus I used my $5 gift card I got in the mail to make these deals even better :)

In the Mail

I am one of those people who religiously gets my mail everyday-because you never know right there might be something exciting in it. I am always signing up for freebies and sending in rebates and stuff like that. Well yesterday was a BIG surprise day-$70 in gift cards yep that's right. Here is what I got.

-$50 Visa gift card form US Bank for opening an account and meeting a financial goal (not shown)

-$10 KOHLS Card-good towards any purchase of $10 or more (these are randomly mailed out by Kohls)

-$10 Discover Gift Card from Kellogg's for a rebate they had awhile back-you got $10 for sending in 10 UPC of certain Kellogg's cereals.

It is times like this that I remember why I am always so excited to see what is in the mail each week-because sometimes life throws you surprises plus the grocery ads come by mail as well. :)

Weekly Rite-Aid Chronicles

I have stopped doing the big stockpile picture and running total for my Rite-Aid trips. It was just getting to be to much to keep track of. I also have so much of many items that I am not going to Rite-Aid every week. I am still going a few times a month though and will continue to do the Rite-Aid Chronicle posts they will just be a little bit different. Here is the picture from my trip today...The total for all of this was $4.39 plus I have a $1 UP Reward left to use later. Here is the breakdown...

Transaction #1 I bought 1 package of Bic Soleil razors priced at $4.99. I used $1/1 non-prescription purchase RA printable coupon, and a $3/1 Bic Soleil coupon found in the Sunday paper. My total OOP was $1.24 plus I got back a $1 UP Reward.
Transaction #2 I bought a 3 pack of Trident Layers Gum priced at $1.99. I used a .50/1 trident layers RA printable coupon, and my $1 UP Reward from the first transaction. My total OOP was .55 and I got back a $1 Up Reward.
Transaction #3 and #4 were identical. I bought a package of Bic Soleil razors priced at $4.99. I used a $3/1 Bic Soleil coupon from the Sunday paper and the $1 UP Reward from previous transaction. My total OOP was $1.30 for each transaction and I have a $1 UP Reward left over for next time.

Wal-Mart Deals week of 8/1

I took a trip to Wal-Mart yesterday and I found quite a few good deals. Here is what I got for right around $7.Here is the breakdown...
2 Gillete Fusion Pro-Glide razor kits .97 each (On sale for $4.97. I used the $4/1 gillette fusion coupons from the 7-31 P&G)
3 three packs of ivory soap .78 each (Regular price $1.28. I used the .50/1 ivory soap coupon from the 7-31 P&G)
5 Curad Products-bandaids and medical tape .46 each (Regular Price .96. I used the .50/1 curad product coupon from the Sunday Papers)
6 Packages of Bic Pens-FREE (I ad matched them with K-Mart's price of .50 each and then used the $1/2 Bic Coupon from the 7-31 Sunday Paper)

Albertson's Trip

There were doublers yesterday in the Sunday Paper so I made a trip to Albertsons this morning to pick up a couple of things. I got all of this for a grand total $2.36.The cereal was on sale for $1.88 per box. I used two $1/1 cinnamon toast crunch coupons (that came with a free sample of the cereal), 1 $1/2 cheerios coupon from the Sunday Paper, and then 3 doublers. The shampoo was regular priced but I used free product coupons that I got in the mail for both of them.
